My wife bought me a Baja 90 quad that doesn’t run and I’m trying to figure out why.

I found this wire wire loose and can’t find where it would hook up. I’m guessing it isn’t important but does anyone know what it’s for and where it plugs in?

 

Pure guess, but I think it will be a neutral light switch. These can be important, as many bikes have a lock-out so the starter won't work unless the neutral light is on.
