Default Fuse Keeps Blowing

150cc TaoTao ATV was running fine. Shut off to switch drivers and it will not start. Have found out that every time the ignition switch is turned on the fuse at the positive wire by battery blows. Have looked over wiring and can not find any issues. Any ideas what is causing this fuse to blow all of a sudden?

The ignition switch itself must be a suspect, there will be the live wire and an earth going to the switch, they are not supposed to contact one another, but may have done. Resistance tests on the switch would tell you. Once the main live wire goes from the switch it goes to all the electrical components, starter switch, and (if fitted) lights, horn, brake light, etc, if it is one of these circuits, you need to follow the fault to find which one, and test components/wires until you find the faulty one.

did you happen to find a fix for that? I’m currently having the same issue.
