I’ve read a lot of great answers on here. I hope someone has one for me. My Taotao 125 will crank but not start. Well a little history first. Was riding home and it just started losing power getting slower and slower. Turned it off when I got home and tried to start it and it ran for about 3 seconds and that’s the last time it started. Tried starting it at the plug since I do have fire. Used straight gas didn’t work starting fluid didn’t work carb cleaner still nothing. Adjusted valves also. Got a compression tester ordered but it feels like it’s got plenty of compression. What’s up????

 

If you have spark and compression it is a fuel/carb issue. First you should check to make sure you are getting gas to carb. Pull fuel line to carb and turn gas on. Make sure fuel is running out of the line. If it is then would more than likely be a carb issue. Take carb off and clean it out real good and see if the helps.
