2020 Gio blazer 125 very little power in forward but power in reverse
#11
Hey, I have a 2020 Gio Blazer 125 with single speed forward and reverse. On flat ground, it drives fine but is starting to get harder to get going. On trails, slight hill or in a little mud, it has hardly any power in forward, just bogs. In reverse though, it'll spin the tires and accelerate no problem. Any ideas on what may be causing this?
With the atv running, leave it on neutro, release the 14mm on the right side of the engine, unscrew the bolt in the middle with a flat head. Now you will have to do that a few times to get the best adjustments. Hold the flat screw and tight the 14mm at same time. Try engaging foward and check for traction. Not good enough, repeat the process until you get good traction. There is no electronics that controls rpm on this chinese engines.
note. You may need to adjust the carb as you go as well. Not enough air on intake will make it bog.
