lack of power in reverse
#1
hi all, well i was riding in some new trails this weekend and i came over a hill and when it wasn't until i was on my way down that i realised that it was a bank for a lake. I immediatly stoped the quad and put it in reverse to get back up the hill. When i let off the clutch i didn't have enough power to get back up the hill. I would say it was about a 50 degrees bank. On the flat i have no trouble with going in reverse. thanks jeremiah

Disconnect the reverse rev-limiter and you'll have TONS of power in reverse. We did this to my buddy's rappy cause the rev-limiter was kicking in when he was going forward. Only problem was he ended up on his lid later that day cause he forgot we unplugged it and he hit the gas too hard in reverse.
Sorry this doesn't help, but it was funny as hell!!!!
