Default lack of power in reverse

hi all, well i was riding in some new trails this weekend and i came over a hill and when it wasn't until i was on my way down that i realised that it was a bank for a lake. I immediatly stoped the quad and put it in reverse to get back up the hill. When i let off the clutch i didn't have enough power to get back up the hill. I would say it was about a 50 degrees bank. On the flat i have no trouble with going in reverse. thanks jeremiah

So what is your question? If you need more power/speed in reverse, just get rid of the rev limiter.

Disconnect the reverse rev-limiter and you'll have TONS of power in reverse. We did this to my buddy's rappy cause the rev-limiter was kicking in when he was going forward. Only problem was he ended up on his lid later that day cause he forgot we unplugged it and he hit the gas too hard in reverse.

Sorry this doesn't help, but it was funny as hell!!!!

there is a green with white striped wire coming out of the CDI, if you connect or splice it to ground you wont have a limiter. But you wont have a reverse light either.
