Default 2016 Tao Tao 110cc

Hello all, new to the forum. I have a kids quad that is having an issue. The quad was running fine and my kid jumped a log breaking the brake light off the quad. I ran over to stop him and the light pulled from the system possibly arcing but I can't confirm that. I replaced the light with a new one, however the quad is still completely dead. No indicator light, no headlights or tails. This is an AC setup, however the indicator still lit before the issue. I've tested the battery, I've recharged it just for giggles and I've jumped the starter posts and it will run while the security system chirps and shuts back off. I'm leaning towards the ignition switch causing the issue considering it seems to me it thinks it's stolen and shuts back off. I don't like throwing parts at it like a Ford dealer, any assistance in repairing this would be great.

Seems like the main fuse between battery and ignition switch has gone. If it isn't that, bikes with complications like "security switches" and "remote kill boxes" can be a pain to sort out.

Every Chinese bike and quad I've seen uses a inline glass fuse enclosed in a white plastic container. It's usually close to the battery.

Would this be in between the starter solenoid and the ignition? I haven't found a fuse in any kind of plastic piece. I was told it's around the seat and I've got nothing there, there's a huge loom of wiring around the fuel tank between the fairing. Everybody keeps telling me theres a fuse, but without cutting the wiring apart I can't find one at this point.

It should be within a foot or so of your connection to the battery. It may be a fusible link hard to say what they used
