Default Chinese quad Smokes !

Hi, I have a 2007 Katerra, 110 cc, 4 stroke, manual trans. It starts & runs well but it smokes Really bad. Tried some oil thickener but same result. It needs a ring job. Found a site that sells rings, or a ring & top of piston kit ( rings, piston, shaft & clips ) & also a head gasket. What else would I need ? How would I know if it needed to be bored out - then I need oversized piston. Also needs a lower ball joint for front suspension @ $50, which I have found. I am a heavy duty mechanic & I think I can do this all myself. What would be an approx $ for rebuild ? Would it be worth it if I were to sell it ??

I'd love to hear the answer to this as well.

what color is the smoke? blue, black, gray, white?
what does the compression test show? just curious....
i think the rebuild would be worth it unless you just need a parts quad laying around the shop.........or you could sell it "as is" because there's always someone else looking for quads like that to fix up....at least we have a few people like that in my area.
