I am fixing this (rather attempting to) for a friend of mine. The problem I encounter is I get it running at my house, but on the trip to his house something must happen, and it wont start at his house. It has now done this twice to me, and I cant get the thing started at all now. A new sparkplug fixed it before. Also anyone know of any tricks for the kick start to not stick? I took it apart and was amazed at how crappy the setup was, and after about 20-30 pulls up (yes pulls, doesn't go up by itself) it starts to jam and gets harder and harder to pull back up.

 

sounds like it's flooding from the float bouncing in transit. don't know about the kick start

better check the crankcase oil for gasoline contamination
