i am looking to purchase a used side by side was curious peoples thoughts and experiences with different machines thanks

There are pretty much 3 types of side by sides. UTV's that are more utilitarian like a regular Polaris Ranger or original Yamaha Rhino, sport side by sides like the Polaris RZR XP, and Can-Am Maverick, and hybrids like the Polaris General.

What kinds of riding and chores would you be anticipating.

Their is a off shore brand that is getting great reviews in performance, reliability, and warranty. Looks like a can-am knock off. You may be able to pick one of them up for the same price as a used name brand.

An older Yamaha Rhino, Polaris Ranger or Kawasaki Teryx seem to be the best bargains in used utvs.

For new, check out the Kymco's. Made in Taiwan , not China.
