Default 2007 Zhejiang 150cc Project (with Pics)

Picked up a 2007 Zhejiang 150cc GY6 project and have a few questions :

1) can anyone identify the brand for it? Gio, Zstar, Coolster, Xtreme? Need replacement plastics.

2) Is the yellow button for the electric start, and red switch I assume is for on/off? What should the green switch be for?

The manufacturer Zhejiang, will have decided on the plastics so what brand the importer called it doesn't matter, except that plastics are sometimes sold by quoting the brand. However not many brand's plastics are still available, so it is usually a case of do I think these will fit. Generic plastics are difficult, as the size that will fit a 50cc kids quad are not going to fit a full size bike, but the plastics will look the same size on pictures.

That green button looks like an afterthought, either some accessory was added (which may have since been removed) or one of the existing buttons stopped working and was by-passed using the green switch.

Looking further into the plastics, I've seen on VMC's website similar ones listed for the 150cc-250cc models that have the exact same under seat storage/battery compartment as mine. Thinking these 150cc model plastics may fit and probably the chinese manufacturers all used the same under seat layout for 150cc models and only the fenders and such were different styles. The front plastics on mine now seem to maybe be non original and off of a smaller 125/110 model as it seems a bit too small for my 150cc model.

Any confirmation you can give for the yellow button (electric starter?) or red switch on top (on/off?)? The atv has no wires to the starter so cant confirm by tracing them.

Usually they would have used yellow for start and red as kill switch, it should also have an ignition key switch for switching the engine on and off. However that switch unit is generic and I have come across machines using separate start buttons, leaving the yellow button unused.

Mine has no key switch and I've traced that green switch last night and it goes to the starter. Doesn't seem to be a momentary switch, which it should be I think.

Will be re-aligning the kick start next which seems caught up now as it doesn't get a full swing but barely moves and seems to lock up when trying it. Have seen online its common and needs to be aligned.

Yes, kick start is for emergencies but owners tend to use it instead when the electric start gives out, rather than fixing the electric, so the emergency starter then gives out too. Pull starts on Hondas are often broken, for the same reason.
