Default Warrior problem need help?????

I am trying to help my sons friend. He has a 2002 Warrior, Here is what is happening: It starts up and idles perfect but when you hit the throttle it wants to die out. What we checked out so far:
1)Emergency brake switch, disconnected it , still acts up.
2)Neutral wire , ok
3)reverse wire, ok
4)Took carb. off, cleaned real good, still acts up
5)check plug, ok did not replace.
6)gas flow to carb ok.
7) air cleaner ok
It really acts like that safety switch on the brake, but connected or disconnected it does the same thing, even if you manually hold it in.
Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks QuadZmoto

How about bad gas, its a long shot.
Maybe a stuck choke, it would be hard for it to happen on a Warrior but maybe...
Jumped time????doubtfull that would do it but it is easy to check anyway.

Thanks for the replys. Choke was one of the first things I thought of. It works fine. Would bad gas make it want to choke when you get on the throttle?

it may sound stupid but if the air filter is not placed correctly it will mess up the air fuel mixture, make sure the air box drain plug is in, you may suck up water and it will run at low idle but if you jump on it the motor will suck in water w/ the air & stall it.

The Warrior carb has an accelerator pump spring that is very weak, and tends to let the plunger stick down, so when you hit the gas, it gulps air, and very little fuel, and bogs badly. take the plastic side cover off and see if the pump rod is stuck down. You will need to take the bowl off, take out the rod and spring, and first see if the rod moves in the passage smoothly, I've found burrs in some carbs. Next, take a spring from a click type ink pen,it is the same size, and about 5 times stronger. My 95 Wolverine has the same type carb, and after replacing that spring, I've never had that problem again. Just one more thing for you to check.

I had the SAME problem with my warrior, on mine it was the freaking parking break crap, check all the wires on that thing and make shure it's ok. if your still under warranty just take it back and let them mess with it
