the fuel gauge on the new sportsmans are built into the speedo,so they do have them

 

my 00 xplorer came with a fuel gauge gas cap

 

scrambler420 that must be a new addition on the 04 models, because my 03 sp600
doesn't have that. A gas gauge would sure be nice, since then, my wife and son wouldn't

my brothers is the 03 sportsman 600 and im pretty sure he said it has a fuel gauge along with the speedo..he said you have to use the override button to cycle through the features of the gauge??ill ask him again on the fuel gauge just to be sure

 

the 03 doesn't have a fuel gauge, I'd be surprised if the 04 does. They put a gas cap type fuel gage on the atp (that only goes to about half a tank) and the atp shares the same gauge cluster as the sportsman if I'm not mistaken.

That is one thing, that I wish that Polaris would add for sure, it gets aggraviating trying to guess how much fuel you have left in the tank. I know that you can watch your mileage on the odo but it would be nice to have a gauge like a lot of the other brands do to just glance down at from time to time.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
