Default your best Sportsman modification

What are the best changes you made to make your Sportsman, smoother, faster, stronger, more versatile, or better in any way? I don't mean big-money accessories, but handy ideas that the average rider can use. With all the experience and ingenuity in the forum there must be a few fresh ideas that Polaris hasn't put into the machine yet.

On my 500 HO the 1.5" lift kit with a wheel/tire upgrade was the best (nice to see a fellow Albertan here).... My wife rides on the back alot.... going to a larger/wider tire made it nicer for both... and the vampire tires get us through the bogs alot better (stuck sucks!).. the lift kit is cheap as hell... and easy for any1 to put in... tires were pricey... but worth the $$$'s.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

I've added a toggle switch in the pod that will short the green and yellow wires, this allows all three lights to work at the same time when the switch is thrown. I've done this with a couple quads and it works fine, there's plenty of wattage.

- let there be light.....

I can't give you just one upgrade!
I added a buzzer to let me know my hi temp light is on.
Bypassed reverse override.
Added a horn and used the reverse override button to operate it.
Upgaded tires and rims.
Upped the headlight bulb to 100W
Bumpers front and rear.
2000 lb winch.
Made a device to wash the mud out of the rad, fits on the end of the garden hose.
That's the main ones.

I put spacers in the front, so now my tires stick out far enough so that I can see them stop spinning every time I break an axle.
