recon front tires
#1
Im thinking of going to gators for my recon. I use it on a deer lease in very muddy conditions. Its used mostly for utility and not real fast driving. Can someone tell me how they ride? Also since its 2 wheel drive can I just put gators on back and keep stock on front any suggestions would be helpful.

Yes you can just put gators on the back and keep the stockers up front. Infact that is the best idea. You would be wasting your money to put gators up front becasue your front tires aren't pulling and they would require more power to push the bigger lugs through the mud. The gators are supose to be a great tire. They ride really good on the trails and bite really good in the mud. There are alot of recon with them on the rear.

I've seen the gators and they are great. 01redrecon is right on the money when he said not to put them in the front. On two wheel drives, it is actually easier to go through mud without big lugs up front because smaller lugs are easier to "slide" across.
