FYI - 1st V-Force Recall

Did anyone get the recall notice from Kawasaki today regarding the "Throttle Cable Adjuster Locknut"? Apparently this is a voluntary safety recall by Kawi to tighten the throttle cable adjuster nut on the KSV700-A1 models. They say the the nut can loosen causing the trottle from fully closing. Anyway check your adjuster nuts or wait for the recall notice and let Kawi do it for you!! Happy trails!!

Talked to my dealer today.....The throttle cable adjuster nut is not the one at the thumb throttle. It is at the carb itself.....so if you do not take it to the dealer make sure you check it yourself!! I am taking my V Force to the dealer Monday, will let you know what I find out.

Had my V Force at the dealer today for the recall. All they did was check to see if the locknut for the throttle cable at the CARBURATOR was tight and checked the throttle play. Mine was fine and I was out of there in 5 minutes. Very simple could of done this myself......
