If anyone is leaving their airbox stock, what main are you running? I have a k&n filter in the stock airbox and live at sea level. The quad is falling flat on its face, popping, around 6000 rpms. Please help with some jetting suggestions! Thanks

try backing out the air screw for more air. or turn it in for less air. and only turn it a 1/2 a turn each time then test it

The popping is caused by the W/B pipe, not the k&N. if you want to remedy the popping, you're gonna hafta try getting more air in the carb. Some have tried 5-6 univents in the airbox, and others have gone with a K&N clamp on directly to the carb with an outerwear, 170main, and 50 pilot and then a filter for the crankcase breather. I know Modquad has a very good setup with his clamp-on and is even race proven so far to hold out mud and dirt...I'm almost thinking about switching over when I get a pipe...but right now I'm still stock exhaust, so I will keep the airbox stock too!

Thanks, I'll try the air screw and also up-sizing the main jet.
