Does anybody know how much toe-in or toe-out is the correct amount? I a'm looking for a dimention to set mine up, or at least check it. 3 or 4 different people I have riddin with have commented on how it looks like it is drastically toed out.
It seems to track ok, but I am concerned about tire wear. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks

 

Wrap a string around all four tires at mid-height.

Make a note of the distance to the string on the back the front tires.

With the handle bars lined up straight, the rear of the front tires should be 1/4 inch from the string on each side.

This amount of toe-out should make the quad run straight with stability. Do not toe the tires in. Toe in will cause the quad to become unstable at speed over uneven terrain and pitch back and forth. The closer the toe-out is adjusted to neutral the easier your Honda will be to steer also.

The Honda manual says 3/4 +or-- 9/16" toe-out for the Rancher 4x4.

 

I have just adjusted my toe-out to 1/8". It tracks well and easier to steer than the factory setting.
