But there seems to be little excitement generated with the ATV magazines about such a significant entry into the market? When the Grizzly, Rincon and the Prarie 650 were introduced, the magazines used it as their top stories. Generally, the magazines (particulary High Torque) appear to dismiss AC machines much the same as they did with Polaris years ago? Um, very strange!

 

maybe cause the AC650 is not anything new? its a Prairie, for crying out loud.

 

Actually it is only part Prairie. I have read on various forums where people with IRS quads said "If Kawasaki ever put the V-twin in an IRS quad I would have bought it over my Grizzly, Sportsman, Rincon etc......" Well here it is, arguably the best/most powerfull engine in a 4X4 now in a IRS quad with a locker. What will be the excuse now?

 

Well its not really a Praire for Crying out Loud...lol.

It uses the motor, tranny(maybe) and maybe the locker. It uses the gas tank design also but its 7 gallons!!! There should be reviews and previews very soon on this quad. Its a new quad in the market that should do well, it deserves magazine time like any other quad.

EDIT: If they do not get magazine time this will prove once and for all how sad the magazines really are.
