Honda FourTrax Rancher AT for the wife????
#1
Hey Folks,
I am looking for feedback on the Honda FourTrax Rancher AT. I am seriously considering buying this machine for my wife and was wondering if anyone could give their thoughts about it. I have a Rincon now and we love it. We think a smaller machine (compared to the Rincon) is the way for her to go. We like trail riding and absolutely love to go mudding so I was thinking this will be a good fit for her. Our dealer is willing to let us have the GPS model (all they have in stock and on order) for $6300 out the door. I think that is a pretty good price. I do love that they are close to home and the service I get from them now is awesome. Let me hear your thoughts...

Bottom Line. Have her test ride it and the one you have now. If she likes the rancher good news. If not you better get another ricon so you don't have to ride the smaller machine. As for GPS are you really going to get lost down there? Nice feature, just not convinced its worth the $. Also try the Rancher ES, yes its a smaller motor but from other posts engine need to be bigger to run the Auto transmission. The electronic shift is Sweet! Good luck.

We did just that, and it followed us home! Well after a full weekend of riding I have to say it is a great machine. Handled great and boogied along pretty quick. I do agree the GPS is not worth it for us to have but it's a cool little toy. She said it was worth the money to have on the ATV just for braggin rights (I don't have it on my Rincon so she rubs it in) . As we put more miles on it I will let fill everyone in...

If you shop around a little you will save yourself a lot of cash. That price he gave you is the msrp price. You are getting screwed. Go to Honda's website and get a list of more dealers. You should see prices of $500 or more under msrp.
