SP 400 4 stroke engine knocks at idle

SP 400 4 stroke engine knocks at idle
Has anyone had problems with their SP 400 knocking at idle??? seems like it might be worse hot. It almost sounds
kind of like a loud piston slap but I'm not sure??? Are their any problems to look outfor on the 400 4 strokes???
It has about 1200 miles on it and is an '01. Thanks!!!

SP 400 4 stroke engine knocks at idle
They are round buttons that the two halves slide on.If you dont have the tool to do it you can take it off and take it to a shop.To check them I just take the cover off,start it and listen or feel thee primary clutch.
