Looking to get a new utility and was wanting some input of the sportsman line in general. Do all 4 wheels pull in 4wd?Ant belt slippage?Frequent maintenance?Any help would be greatly appreciated,trying to do as much research as possible before purchasing. Looking at the kodiak 450 or the sportsman

 

Well, yes, all wheels pull while in 4-Wheel Drive. Maintentence? I've just followed the owners manual ... it doesn't seem "out-of-the-norm" -or- excessive to me ... Now, if you're asking about bout the difference between te 400 and the 500 .... if I had to do over again, I'd have buy the 600 ... My 400 has <U>NOT</U> let me down once! It's great ... The thing will pull parade floates ... but I think it's just me wanting to have "More" fun.

 

Go with the 500 and you wil be happy. EBS and more power are the reasons for the 500. I have liked my 500 and would purchase another one.
