Everyone keeps saying put a 14 Tooth Front Sproket to make My quad have even more Top Speed. Will it make it have more Top Speed and how much more do You think It will make It have. And If I put a 14 Tooth will I have to Adjust Chain or anything. What do I have to Do. Just put it on and everything will be Fine. Please Tell me Thanks All

 

yes you will have to adjust the chaun. but you will lose bottom end. what are you looking for more top end for. dragging or racing. what type of riding do you do?

 

I want More Top End. If I put a 14 tooth on How much More Top End will I get. How much bottom will I lose. Thats all I will have to do to is Adjust the Chain.

 

I noticed your sig you have a 727... I have a 727 kit on my Rappy and i can go up to a 15 tooth and never hardly notice the loss on bottom end. A 727 should carry the 14 EASY. It will give you a good bit on top end. You are going from a 308 to a 286 ratio that is a pretty large change. As far as exact mph im not sure.

You will lose some But honestly with a 727kit you should never notice it.

(that is taking for granted you are trail riding... if you are trying to get times on a drag in x amount of feet then you may notice a loss on time, could see a gain... just a mater of experimenting with your quad)
