Just wondering if anyone has installed a clutch kit in there 03 400 yet? What were your results? Better? Worse? Did ir help with reverse?

 

Try a clutch kit from Erlandson Performance. I just put one in a 500 and a 400 auto, but I didn't put the springs in to bump the engaugement RPM up. I was still impressed with the kits, especially the 500 kit. The 400 kit improves the backshift alot to keep you in the right gear at all times.

 

I just installed my EPI clutch kit in my 03 400 auto. Man it made a big difference. The machine gets in the power band quick. I can punch it off the line and get it to pick up the front tires alittle. It wouldn't do that before. Top end is the same, it just gets there quicker. Installation was fairly easy it took me about 3 hours. The directions were great. I had to buy the tool to do the job myself but it still was cheaper than having someone do it. No more low-end bog!!!!!!!!!
