Any new prairie 400's?

Hey Dave
I bought a 99 Prairie 400 4x4 new in Oct. Took it to WY hunting the following week. I did have one problem with it. It kept acting like it was losing spark and was stalling on me, fourtunatly it was always where i could get it back on the trailer cause I was in some really remote places that I wouldn't want to walk from. Anyway, Had to take it to the nearest Kawasaki Dealer out there, 90 mi. away. Turned out to be a loose connection under the seat. Other than that, nothing but good experiences with it.

Dave;
Up until I bought it, I had never driven an atv before, I had always had trail bikes. So I guess I can't really help you with your question cause I haven't driven one WITH ebs. I imagine it would be like driving your auto transmission car in first gear.
You can get the engine's compression to help slow you down if you give the throttle a little tap to engage the clutch every once an a while when going down hill. The main thing with not having ebs, is that riders are going through a lot of brake shoes, so easy on the brake I guess.
