I was just wondering, I was talking to a guy the other day who has a 03 wr 450 bike, he mentioned that he wanted to get the yzf cams to put in it. So i brought up just advancing the exhaust one tooth like I heard many people are doing with the quads to get the same effect. He told me that with the WR you cant do that because it messes up the decompression and the starter wont crank it. So can he do it and still use the electric start,do the quads have a problem when you do this. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me. Thanks

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I had posted at one point, a guy at St Anthony on a baffle removed/airbox lid off/jetted YFZ raced one with the same mods but with also the cam mod and said he got smoked pretty good, going up big ol choke cherry hill.

I'm very near to going larger on the bore and porting. I considered going with what you're doing, but at the time there was absolutely no data/feedback on what was out there. Now the shiz is a hit'n the fan and everybodys got something cooking.
