87 tecate 4, should i buy it?
#2
Semms..
A buddy of mine bought a tecate and it was pretty much complete so I could not tell you how hard it is to find parts. If it's complete and running, I would say go for it! They are pretty quick but the only thing I don't like about them is how narrow and therefore tippy they are. If its complete, I would say $750 is a good deal.

I believe the only thing you cant find anymore for them is OEM plastics, but most everything else is out thier for them. Unless its a parts bike(peice of $hit) it is well worth 750! I clean one will sell for 2200 no problem.

I'd go for it. $750 isn't a lot of money, and if it is all there then it is well worth it. Just think, you could always make your money back by parting it out on ebay. This spring I saw a Tecate 4 at a dealership going for somewhere around $1800-2400. It wasn't all that nice either.

If it is under a grand i would go for it if it is in good shape other than that it is pretty old not worth much more unless it is practically brand new
