What happens if you don't gut out the tip? Does it defeat the purpose?how deep do you have to drill?

 

I didn't do anything to the end cap and I noticed a difference. It will be a bigger difference if you do open up the end cap but it will be considerably louder aswell and that was what I tried to avoid. If that doesn't matter to you, cut in to it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

if you gut the tip you get rid of you spark arrestor.......don't plan on riding any trails that require one. If caught you will be fined.
