Theres so many scams just forget about them. Go ahead and bid, if you win just dont let him ship it to you. Drive and pick it up then hand him the money. Its really that simple sometimes.

As an Ebay power seller, I would have to say, DONT BID. It only encourages these Fu##in idiots. The more these scams go on, the more ebay starts to charge for honest sellers. Just my opinion.

I'm no power seller, but I've been on ebay enough to know a scam when I see it, and that is one. The feedback ALL relates to sports cards (high dollar item $8), and now he's suddenly selling a DS and demanding a wire transfer?
These people are going to ruin it for the rest of us.

Yeah the NO BUYER PICKUP thing really sets it off for me. If someone was legit and really wanted to sell something they would be willing to let you pick it up or arrange to meet you somewhere with the bike. And I too am a Powerseller

the buy it now button goes directly to the individual not to ebay......

baited price on tainted "buy it now" button stinks of dead fish.

I don't think the e-mail matches the e-mail for the seller either!

Someone may have stole the identity of the eBay account holder.

eBay should have an alert where we could send an e-mail to them warning them that we think the auction is a fraud. On second thought. . . go ahead and bid on it then take eBay to court saying they should have safety features like this!

I emailed ebay about that right after it came out. It looks like the same ad as the last one but with a different pic. I also emailed the seller and asked if the warranty would be extended because it said "if you buy before 8/23/03' (or something like that) 'it would have a 3 year warranty and after that it would be the 6 mth factory warranty" and it was put on ebay almost a month later; which by the way, it was about a month ago that the last one was pulled from ebay.

You can email ebay at spoof@ebay.com if you think it is a fraud. Also if you get an email that looks like it is from ebay asking for you to go to a confirmation page and put in your information. That is how they steal your identity.

If you get the email just forward it on to ebay at the address above. Dont write anything and then they will go from there.

I have sent them a half dozen emails over the last weeks about several of these scams. It seems ebay is becoming a haven for them.

Oh, and every one I have emailed them about has been pulled.
