Default Oil overheating /Is this Due to clutch slippage????

MY Oil has been getting very hot and my clutch slipped a few times under hard power shift last week..But my temp has stayed cool in the top end of motor [ on alky ] around 155degrees. just wondering if it is due to slipping clutch, maybe it was slipping just a tad the whole time and causing heating\ Thanks in advance

By the way, I run barnett clutch and pami springs always...

i lost the clutch actuator on a ride and had a spare so i was doing a quick change after the ride and that clutch was pretty darn hot, and that is after i got the parts off to get to the side cover plus the side cover off, and what i mean by hot is it was hot than i could stand to touch. oh and don't give me any crap about sissy hand i'm a carpenter hope that helps.
