opinions on handle bar clamp size if given the choice?
#1
I'm about to order a new LSR steering stem and can choose between the stock clamp or one made for fat bars like the pro taper. Im also planning on getting new bars at the same time so I would like peoples feed back on whether, given the choice, the fat bars make much if any difference besides appearance... I actually like the appearance of the bars with a crossbar better.

I just recently got an LSR anti-vibe +1 stem and protaper hi-cr fatbars.
Before I got them I was having major trouble with fatigue and arm-pump, now I could got for hours. I can't tell you if it was the stem or the bars or the combo of both, but it worked.
I would go with the fatbars.

I switched to the TAG T-2 fatbars. I like not having the cross bar and I think the fatbars will be stronger in a rollover. I do get more vibration though. Need to fix that, but I normally only feel it on pavement at high RPM.

Starky, that's what used to happen to me, at high rpm on a gravel road or pavement my hands would lock up after a few minutes. I guess it is the anti-vibe stem because it doesn't happen anymore.

So if you get FatBars, does your barmounted controls like cluth and throttle and start/light control stuff all have to be changed out to a larger diameter???
What do you do???
