how well do you think that a cr500(with a 560 kit) in a 250r three wheeler would run?

my buddy has one but he is too lazy to get it finished......all he has to do is fabricate a few small things...........

The cr 500 is one kick a$$ motor .I own a cr500 Lager trx it scoooots. if youre friend is to lazy to finish and wants to sell it let me know.Also who did the stroke and bore on youre friends bike. I may bore and stroke my atc500r.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

He wants me to get it runnin..........take it to the strip.....make a lil money.......and either me buy it......or sale it........he don't care.....he just has kids and several mx quads........

Give me some details, is it based on cr500 frame - what year cr500 - exteded swingarm what lenght - flip top sub frame - how are the plastics - stuff like that, give all the info you can gather if you could post a picture it would be great.

heres the story.........this guy has raced mx for years on his 250rs........
and bout 2 years ago he decided that he was gunna make a drag bike........
and already had a 250r three wheeler, so he did a little work to it and took it to the strip and ran it a few times.......then he decided to put a cr500 motor in it.........he bought and 89 cr500 bike........took the motor carbs etc out and transplanted it in the three wheeler.........he hasn't completely finished it yet......the kick start needs to be extended and a few more small things to that nature.......and he said that he needs to go back over it and make sure everything is in right........(he is a perfectionist)

the motor hasn't been started in the three wheeler....but when he bought the bike it did run.......
the previous owner toldhim that he it had a 560 kit on it........but he hasn't miked the cylinder or anything to prove it.....he hasn't take the motor apart at all........
but if anyone is seriously interested he will get it running and do a compression check on it and send some pictures

it has a +8 swing arm
Brand new maier fenders(red)
new seat
new front wheel and tire
and a ftz Drag pipe...(chromed......and never run)

 

btw........he has replaced all of the bearings since it has been run also......
& it has a twist throtle........
