ok but how does the moter do just cruising along on the trails i mean i go fast i just dont fly on the trails i do enjoy just rideing around with my freinds and wife but in an open field it is a diff story i like doing wheelies and small jumps and it seems that most quads are not built for both of these types of riding i really want to make a good decision here because i will have to live with it for a long time....

the 400ex would suit your needs superbly, it is an excellent wheelie machine, jumps good, excellent on the trails at any speed. its a really good quad all the way around but if you do buy one used, make sure that you check EVERYTHING and point out even the smallest problem to te seller and make it sound like a big deal, this will get the price down considerably if they really wanna sell it. i got mine for $1300 because there were so many problems but i planned on upgrading everything that was broken on it anyways so it wasnt a big deal.

The 400ex is a good quad, 2 of my friends have a 400 their not really fast not really slow eather, i only prob the both of my friends have had is blowing gears, other than that their are a very reliable quad...this gos for all quads Just take care of it and it will never fail you!!!
