#1
I was wanting to add additional lights to my 04 Kodiak 450 ,,,Does anyone know what lights I can add , that can be used with the stock lights without running the battery down?????????????I tried to search on lights in forum kept hanging up...
I know I cannot go to Walmart,Kmart, or automotive store and pick up a set of fog lights,, usually these lights pull 55watts
I know that will eat my battery up.....

To answer your question, I'm not sure, but I've been wanting to know the same thing. I like how the Honda Foremans have the handlebar mounted light and I want to do the same thing w/ my Kodiak. I'm sure someone will help us out.

Hey Camo-Man,
I meant to reply to this a couple of days ago. My buddy rides a 1996 Kodiak, and started having trouble with his lights kicking on and off. Not a good thing up here, we tend to be 20-30 miles off the road coming out after dark, nearest town over 500 people is a loooooooooooong ways off.
Oh, back to the reply. He bought a set of lights from Cabelas on-line. WOW, bright, sealed, came with all the wiring and a seperate switch or you could wire them into your existing lighting. He loves them. I am considering getting a set for mine, and my lights work great. They were in the neighborhood of $60.00.
Here is the link. They are $59.99 w/o shipping.
Cabelas Halogen Light Kit
Oh, I say I am from Galion, but I went to Northmor High School.
Our football team played in a different league, much lower league.

Go to your local auto parts store and get some pilot 55w fogs,or low profile lights....what ever you want. These lights come with a wiring harness and you just hook them to the batt and put them where you want. You can use a seperate switch or wire it up to the stock one. These lights and fool proof and will not drain your batt.
