I love my 400 ex that i got this summer, now it is winter and just lovin it even more!! This spring iam thinking about putting a pipe on it and k&n air filter on it. I had alot of good rides this summer but the one i will remember is the one riding down the river for couple miles then all of a sudden seeing a huge sand pit![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] a blast[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Wheelies are my specialty. Thmost memarble moment on a 400ex was when me and my friend got a little buzz off some moonshine and we went out onto the main road and rode a wheelie in 5th gear untill we got bored or riding the wheelie. I had no shirt or helmet on either[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] And when ever i looked back my head was 6 iches from the ground. I kno it was really stupid but it wasnt MY idea. lol O well it was fun.

 

My best time on my 03 400ex would have to be. At SandLake OR, I was drag racing BeachSide against a 400ex and a blaster. well we started up the hill that mind had a nice heavy whoop section. Well I was in 1st gear maxed out when I went too shift into second it didn't go. Instead it decided to go into neutral which was no good by then my adrenilen was pumpin. I shifted into second and before you knew it, I was doing the biggest wheelie I had ever done. It was cool I could hear some of my friends and family cheering. So when I got to the bottom of the hill everyone was like that was cool. Little did they know it scared the POO out of me. Oh and by the way I came in last due to the wheelie.

most memorable had to be last weekend. i busted my axle carrier racing up comp hill (i discovered the problem after i had crused out the the drags afterwards in 5th gear) and found out that i wrecked the axle, the carrier, and the swingarm was salvagable. if i had the honda dealership fix it i woulda spent 900 bucks in parts, and another 600 in labor fees. not to mention the month and a half it would take them to fix it. instead i took it to my parts dealer/atv renter/mechanic and they had it fixed for $350 using used parts that were in good condition, and they had it done by noon sunday (i took it in to the shop at about 4 saturday).
