Looks like it may be a pretty wet weekend for racing. I almost feel sorry for the guys that will be racing in the bike class after we are done

It has rained down here everyday this week. And there is a 40% chance for scattered showers on Saturday and Sunday. It could be a wet one.

We are going out too walk the track on Saturday afternoon. I bet it will be in great shape. But like you said, it will not be after the quads run it.

I just hope i don't get behind you and your Banshee(SaMsOn) if it's wet.. I don't feel like eating a roost sandwich that early in the morning on Sunday.

Man what a lousy weekend I had. Not only did I have a slight accident driving down there, but I also had my throttle cable fray on me during the practice lap which caused my throttle to jam, which ended my hopes of racing

And to top it off, as I was going to go watch the start of the race, I was putting my drink down on the ground so I could snap a few pictures, and I pulled my lower back. Man I tell you, its always in the back of your mind that you might get injured while racing, but never did I think it would happen while bending over to put your drink on the ground.

So now it looks like I'll be taking a few days off till my back heals up.

It was nice meeting you. Sorry about the bad luck. I think I was right behind you on the parade lap when you throttle cable broke. It happened right before the tight woods section, if that was you that I was behind.
I had a good race. I finished 4th in the 4-stroke class, earning my first ever ATV racing trophy. I finished 9th overall for the day.
I hit a fallen tree on the first lap of the race, and put a hole in my front tire. I didn't even notice until after the race when my tire was flat. What a bummer, they were brand new tires too. Only one race, and the tire is already shot.
This time, I managed to keep all 4 wheels on the ground and have a good, controlled race.
My confidence is now up, and I know what needs too be done too race in the front. I can't wait too get out there again.

Hey its great to hear that you did so well. You must be pretty pumped about that. Will you be going to Brainerd for the next round, which won't be until September?

Anyone ever tried that HS there?

I will have too see what's happening when that date gets closer. You never know what will pop up with work, bills, family, etc.....
