Does Honda sell the most Quades?

I seemed to see more Polaris quades on the trail and on trailers and in trucks and the number of posts at this site and others are almost the same between Honda and Polaris.Where do the people how say there are more Honda sold get there numbers?

Depends on where you are in the world.
If you live in a place where there are a lot of sleds you will find Polaris ATVs.
Polaris isn't popular at all in northern California and I bet there are even less of them in the southern Californian dessert areas. I see all makes but Polaris around here. They may be ok now but they got real bad reputation for reliability from the early ones. I know a guy who had one and it was terrible.
So just because you don't see these other makes doesn't mean they aren't out there somewhere...

I Live in Eastern Canada and Honda is what we see and use 10 to 1 over Polaris. Polaris has gotten a bad rap from earlier models I think. Having said that, Every time we go riding if you are to see someone wrenching their bike, It ALWAYS seems to be a Polaris rider.( Even newer models ) My Buddy has kicked his rear every day for the last month cause he purchased a Polaris over a Honda...

I seem to see more Yamaha's than Hondas around here also I have seen the new Kodiaks and tons of Big Bears but have not run into a 350 Four Trax(Rancher)yet. This is snowmachine county though(5 minute from the Sault Michigian I-500 race) and there loyal to snowmobile makers.

Here where I ride Polaris is a majority when you are talking about more recent models. When I go up to my camp there are a bit more Yamahas and Hondas but they are 5 years old and above. In and around our riding group people who purchase new quads tend to lean towards Polaris, with Honda and Yama a bit behind...
I think Polaris has made a statement over the last 4 to 5 years. I see more and more of them, mainly Sportsmans and Scramblers... and obviously more of the other brands that have been influenced by the Polaris concept.
Over the next couple years I think we will see the birth of the best quads yet...from all companies!!! If they could all just get rid of what doesn't work and put together quads with the best possible equiptment. Basically a mix of all companies...

lt500, where did u get your info i think that polaris is already #2 and close to being #1.
with atv sales being a large part of polaris sales they have to increase there market share to offset the shrinking sled and PWC markets. thats why for 2001 polaris is making lots of changes

This is a good question! It would be nice if the magazines would do an article which included;
1. number of quads sold
2. Sport Bikes sold
3. Utility quads sold
I hear the same thing that Honda is #1 in sales, but how do we know that if no one prints the numbers.
I am pretty sure Artic Cat & Suzuki are at the bottom on the list for number of units sold.

I ride mostly all with Polaris and I never really see any atvs brokedown know matter how old or what brand. In al lthe time we have ridden , anywhere between 10 - 125 miles in a day not one Polaris has broken down or even acted up.
