my brother has a rancher 4x4, but not with the electric shift. He would like to add a speedometer/odometer to it. Is is possible to adapt the ES one or are there any aftermarkets?

 

I believe that the Canadian version of the RANCHER manual shifter comes standard with the electronic dash (I have read that on several posts). I wanted a RANCHER S with the dash.....they said that when it was all done it would cost more than the ES....I bought the ES.

I'll bet the ES speedometer is more expensive than a GPS receiver. The GPS receivers have a lot more options, too, such as direction, trackback, stored "waypoints", maximum speed, distance travelled, estimated time of arrival (to nearest waypoint), etc. Its just a thought, but you might want to look at that option; its the millenium way to go.
