Kodiak belt life?
#1
I have a 2001 Kodiak with approx. 5000 k/m's. I've lost a good 10-15 kms/hr on the bike since it was new. The motor has never been touched except for a carb cleaning once and oil changes. The belt has been slipped numerous times from drowning the bike in water. Is it time to spring for a new belt?........... (How difficult to change?)

Not only a slipping belt, if it's been sunk before get it in to the dealer to check the clutch system, this needs to be regreased asap. it should be checked and regreased after every sinking. a belt at that mileage wouldn't hurt thats for sure. I put 7000+ km on mine but never sank it. traded it for a grizz a couple weeks ago.
