Default ARGH HELP!!! Pred rear sprocket removal

When you guys changed out your rear sprockets what did you have to do to get it off the sprocket hub? Did you have to masage the hub or sprocket with a grinder or did you have to take the whole axle assembly off? At this time it looks to be about a little more Than an 1/8th of an inch total of material i would have remove. (1/16th+ on each side)

Default ARGH HELP!!! Pred rear sprocket removal

Its been a while for me but If I remember correctly I took off the hub and thats it. The only trouble I had was putting the new one on. Oh yea , I believe I also had to take off the rear skid. Job only took about 25 min and I had no idea what I was doing.

This was an 03. Dont know about the 04.

If needed, taking off the wheel hub only involves removing a cotter key, then the hub nut. Take your time, don't get frustrated, then you'll be working against yourself.
