I want to know the pros and cons of removing the the lid on the air box if anyone has any info. is it worth keeping it off and will i notice a difference in power. i have the stock foam filter.

 

i do think removing the lid does add a little torque. however, i don't think it gives the power that some claim. your filter will get quite a bit dirtier. if you don't ride in wet or really dusty conditions, its not that bad. however, if you do decide to take it off make sure you rejet. if your not going to rejet, don't even think about it.
