recon choke

Default recon choke

the choke on my recon never seems to work. if it does anything at all, it'll just make it die

anyone else have this funny problem???

Default recon choke

after I bought mine it didn't work like my rancher did so I took it in for serv and was told that that is the way it works, It will not idle up the motor it just dumps more fuel in. Seems it would be just like the rancher but it isn't.

Default recon choke

Mine works when I need it.

Have you taken the seat off, removed the air filter element and then look into the throat of the carb to see if it is working? You can see it real easy.

Yes it appears to be working ok just dosn't idle eng up

Default recon choke

My Recon's choke didn't work too well. I would have to find just the right spot for it to idle. It didn't rev up. If it was cold, I'd have to stand there and hold open the gas. (It worked that way since it was new.) Just when I thought it would run on it's own, I'd walk away and it would stall. i thought it was a problem with just mine
ive herd of others having it on here but didnt kno if it was true
yea i have to just sit there and help it warm up
