Default Sportsman 500 HO. Info. Needed!!

Give me everything I need to know about a Sportsman 500 HO.. I'm thinking of getting one in a little bit and wanted to make sure this is the right atv for me and it's worth the $$ for it. Thanks!

a i think the 500 is a great machine... i dont think they have any problems to speak of... and they are the best in there class i think.

Default Sportsman 500 HO. Info. Needed!!

They are great for all around trailriding. They are a bit high in vibration. The on demand 4X4 is great when it works. We have seen lots of failures over the years with this system. We also see lots of fit and finish issues and coolant leaks/pump failures. The Yamaha 450 Kodiak is nicer, but lacks independent rear suspension (rides a bit stiffer) and ground clearance. If thats no issue, the rear of solid axle units dont squat down under a heavy trailer like the independent suspended units do. Yamaha also has alot less mechanical issues and is built better. Ride a few and decide for yourself. Its not what I think anyway but I love to give my 2 cents worth[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
