Default Installing chain on quad is this the tool I should buy?

Hi, I was wondering if this is the only tool i will need to remove my stock chain and install a new chain (D.I.D. 520 O-ring) on my 03 Z400 suzuki quad. If you could please go over the process of removing and installing the link thanks a lot
P.S here is the tool does this tool mushroom the rivet or do i have to do it another way?

toolhttp://www.motionpro.com/Docs/chaintools.html

Mini Chain Breaker & Mini Chain Press Tool.
The 08-0001 is for 420 to 630 chain. It will push the link pin completely through the link. The handle folds away for easy storage and the replaceable pin (08-0002) is heat treated for strength and wear resistance.
(Shown at left of photo) 08-0001: $27.10

Those tools do ok but when you get one be sure it is for an O ring chain.I have one for my Harley chains but it wont work on the Oring ATV chains.O them I use a Dremmil tool to grind the head off of the link and drive the pin out with a punch. Also when you put on a new master link if it is too thight to fit the pins run a Drimmel through it or use a rat tail file but be carful not to take too much off.

I heard people just use a punch to mushroom teh pin heads, is this true, i ahev also heard that this is the only tool i would need, if so how are they mushrooming the heads to keep the link on? I can use a c clamp to install the side plates.

I just use it to brake chain and press the links on.

I use a master link with a clip.

Go to www.rockymountainatv.com and search for the following exactly as shown below:

Motion Pro Chain Breaker

You should get only (1) result and that's the exact tool I use. It'll work on O-ring and non. I just happen to use non-O-ring all the time an any of my dirt toys. I've used this tool for tons of chain work and it's always worked fine.

You can Brad a link on a chain but I wouldnt advise it!I have a punch and set that I use to rivet the rear sprocket on my Harley but it takes along time and lots of busted knuckels.

If you are all stock, just get the proper lenght chain you want... use a chain press to put it together and install the master link... very simple once you think about it...
