400cc vs 500cc for Utility Quad
#1
I have my first quad choice narrowed down to a Rancher AT and a Rubicon. It will be used for light-moderate yard use, hunting(loading up with decoys and dog), pulling an icefishing house onto the lake etc. Does the Rancher fit my needs or would the 500cc of the Rubicon come in handy? I know the differences between the two quads and I have ridden each. I am mainly interested in if the 400cc will be eneogh. Thanks in advance.

The Rancher AT should do the job fine. I had a Rancher 350 ES and once pulled a trailer loaded w/ 11 railroad ties (each weighing around 150 lbs) for quite a distance up a hill for a landscaping job I was doing. I had to throw weight on the front racks to keep the front end on the ground. I never came out of first, but the Rancher pulled steady all the way
