I have experienced this darting when riding at speed along a sandy beach with some mild whoops - widely spaced and not too tall or steep. All of the sudden one of the front tires will dig in and the DS will want to shoot off in that direction. It is scary to say the least! I was almost thrown off the DS in the opposite direction that the DS wanted to dart to. The large front end weight bias must be contributing to this problem.

Make sure that your toe-out is at factory specs.

Thor, The spec says total toe-out = 2.6mm +- 0.5mm. What is this? How do I measure it?

Scooby- toe out is set by measuring the distance between the front tires on a horizontal plane front and rear toe out means the front is wider and toe in means the rear of the tires are wider.
it also best to measure this under load with near your wieght at riding position. An easy way to determine toe is to take 2 straight edges that stick out front and rear of the wheel use 2 tape measures one front and one back.
I hope this helps it's easy to do but hard to explain. good luck

Scooby- I sent you an E-mail with a crude drawing then I mentioned bump steer, although it is important I don't think you will have a problem I really did'nt mean to confuse matters with a bunch of possibilities, sorry.
