Default Updates On Carb/Pipe Dyno Shootout?

Just wondering if anyone had heard any info on the dyno testing, thought someone may have phoned some info.
I have been checking all day, and can't wait to see what happens..

Default Updates On Carb/Pipe Dyno Shootout?

I just talked to Eric (MrHP) at Sills HD in Paducah, KY and here is what we have so far:

Uncrated stock bike made 46hp and 40ft lbs of torque

MRHP Lectron 46HV, ported intake, snorkle no airbox, K&N filter, billet endcap made 51.5hp and 48.6 ft lbs. torque
w/ HMF slip on it was dead even

RWR TM45 (straight out of the box), RWR ported intake, direct mount K&N, (exhaust?), 47 hp (torque?)

THEBOMB J. Ross TM45, snorkle (no box), his ported intake and a couple hours tuning made 50 hp and 47 ft lbs. torque.

That's all we've got for now and I have to go make the burgers...new job...oh yeah, AZSAND is there but could not get his carbs thru the airport security...

They are still trying to squeeze out the hp from the TM45 (no accel pump)...

Gotta go,

Jim

that sucks about azsand's carbs. his only hope was to check the carbs in as luggage. if he tried to bring them on the plane as carry on I can see why they wouldn't make it.

Running a direct mount carb filter i know it makes more than 1hp. I believe It might have to do with the pipe, They were still running a stock pipe. I bet the extra flow of the exhaust will make the 45mm carb give more of an increase. Sean

46hp out of a stock bike? Is that rwhp? What year was that bike? 03? 04? That seems high, that would mean at the crank its close to 50hp.

I dont think those #'s were at the crank, sounds like at the rear wheels to me.

i think anyone who owns or operates a dyno will tell you not to read to much into an initial reading cos there not 100% accurate it should just be used as a basis to see how the mods affect the power,

also are the figures peak hp, cos i know a guy who had his pred set up with pipe and jetting and it only gave 2hp on top but was giving 6hp in the mid,
