.......right. When did you find this out?? LOL. Sometimes they wont do much for you, but sometimes they pull though. It just depends on what type of dealer you have, some are considerate and consider replacing more things that others do.

I have had no problems with Anchorage Yamaha and highly recomend them. The sales staff is great and the parts counter is stocked for what I need and the service department has been fast and have had no problem with warranty issues, they take care of what they sell. So I would say Yamaha is great. AlaskaBoy.

badrap, i took mine to a polaris dealer too. lol. they charged less for labor and the actaully had MORE parts in stock than the yamaha dealer 50 yards down the road. they also sell used yamaha's and hondas tho. but they no that ppl will come to them when the need parts rather than the yamaha dealer and the yamaha dealer was extremly slow. it took 3 days for the polaris dealer to get my parts in and it took the yamaha dealer like 2 months to get my clutch kit it because they "messed up". wow i have to agree with you that they really suck.

If anyones gonna be buying in So. Cal......I recommend John Burr Cycles in Fontana. Sales, service and the all-around attitude at this place is top-notch.....10+

My yammy dealer is the best I have ever experienced. Always willing to help, can fix anything and won't steal you blind. I guess it's not the name brand, but the person selling them. Call Yamaha direct and voice your opinion anout their dealers. You never know what might happen. Sometimes it does pay to bitch.

The local shop around here is always pretty good. You can just stop in if you got somthing wrong with your bike and sometimes they might even do it for you for free. A few weeks ago i was going near there on my blaster and i poped a tire. Not really a big deal but they took care of it right there and pluged it for free. i know its not much but little things like that sure help a business
