Are your bars bent?

Polaris does have problems with the steering stems twisting.

Easy Fix? That depends. Take a good look over the whole system. Check to see if the bars are bend, the steering stem is bent, or, least likely, the tie rods.

My guess is the bars or stem. Bars are easy to replace. I have never done the stem, so I don't know what is involved with that.

I flipped my 400 real easy a few weeks ago and bent the stem. Since it was already a mess, I took a hammer and wacked it back into place. It worked but, I will be replacing it ASAP. It went back real easy almost like it was made out of warm butter or something? I'm sure a replacement will take more abuse and perform better but this will get you through the next few days.
