Just wondered what kind of milage all of you riders have on your Ranchers , I got 1300 miles and no problems at all. I talked to one guy in the woods with a 96 450 with 4500 miles and never had a problem. Just curious as to how long these machines will go without any major problems. Of course maintenance is the key to a dependable quad for sure. As far as I can tell Honda has them all beat right out of the crate for reliability and dependability.

 

i have 20 miles on mine hehe, but i just got it today i would have more on it but i cannot get anyone to ride with me and it gets pretty boring riding alone all day.

I have 250 miles on mine and no trouble yet...knock on wood.

 

I've got 170 miles on my Rancher ES 4x4. When I was picking it up there was oil leaking onto the trailer. Turns out that it had a bad O-ring on the oil cooler system. No other problems since that, well none that have been due to Honda anyway. I've got a few sticks caught in the rear swing arm area which have rubbed on the brake cable a bit and wore away the rubber on the cable. Those are protected better now with some plastic and other flexible tubing.
