I dont know anyone that has raced the recon, but some mods you will want to do is add an exhaust, supertrapp, fmf & biggun make some for the recon. Open your air intake abit along with a K&N silter and jet kit. EBC clutch kit, defintly some suspension upgrades and if you have the moeny put some 250ex front disc brakes on it, remove the racks and through a good set of tires on it and should work pretty good.

i read that on the rancher that if you remove to racks the plastic will become very flimsy. do u think it would be the same way on the recon?
